First Parisian Weekend

Had a great weekend. Went shopping at Galerie Lafayette (or mostly window shopping), had great lunches with new friends, red wine at cafés,  went out clubbing on Saturday, visited the Louvre museum, and walked around in the many streets of Paris. Still trying to figure my way around in this city. School starts tomorrow. American Business School Paris here comes Emily. More updates tomorrow!

This week has been full of meetings, information, meeting new people, embracing a new culture and language, and enjoying what Paris as a city offers. I can't wait to see what the next months have in store for me. Thursday morning we went to see Versailles, and it was breathtaking, absolutely amazing. So much to see. It's incredible to see all those details in the interior of the Chateau. I truly loved it. The weather was quite windy and rainy so I'm going back there to get a closer look at the garden when my parents come to visit during Spring break. In the evening, I went to a cheese and wine party at my new school ABS -American Business School. Some of us took the metro to the 5 arr. and went to a bar "Mayflower". The night ended at a cafe at 2.30 AM.
The weekend is finally here. Planning to check out the sales and hunt for some vintage shops. On Sunday we're planning on going to this famous flea-market. So stay tuned.

Settling in...

Life in Paris is so far so good. Did a boat ride on the Seine River today. Checked out the Le Marais area and just living the life as a tourist so far.  We're going to see the Versailles tomorrow, can't wait!!!! More pictures to come in my next post. Stay tuned!! Au Revoir

BONJOUR PARIS!!

The day has arrived, I am officially living in Paris. My flight from Oslo went at 8:00 AM this morning, and everything went fine. I met my roommate, Erika, at the airport and we took a shuttle to the apartment we're living in. I'm doing a homestay which means that I'm living with a French family.
Erika and I went sightseeing for a couple of hours during the afternoon. We had to begin at the Eiffel Tower, and we walked around the Seine river. Stopped at a bakery and bought a macaron, yum.
Going to bed early tonight, we have a full week of orientation ahead of us.
